Product Information

Used Bach "Corporation" Model 229/25H, large bore (.462"), C trumpet in lacquer finish, manufactured ca. mid-1970s. This early Elkhart trumpet is in very good condition for its age apart from some minor surface scratching and some spots of lacquer wear/acid bleed. Compression is good for a horn of this vintage, at 1.0 when open and around 2.0 with all three valves depressed. This trumpet includes extra 25S, 25A, and 25 leadpipes and their corresponding main tuning slides from the same period of time. Includes original Bach case.

Included with the leadpipes and slides, is their original shipping box from the Bach factory, dating the items at around the same time as trumpet – the leadpipes and slides have been in long-term storage since purchase, and thus have less patina than the trumpet.

If you are looking for an early 229/25H in great condition, this is the one!
