With the new “Elektra”, Miraphone has developed an F tuba that, due to its flexibility and versatility, has earned enthusiasm from soloists, symphony orchestras as well as from concert bands. The “Elektra” 481 embodies a centered, core-focused sound that remains unchanged at fortissimo as well as pianissimo. Obvious progress compared to its competitors has been made with the intonation of this F tuba. The unique design is such, that additional trigger and alternate fingerings are virtually no longer necessary for consistent pitch.
