Features:

Length of Instrument -the fife is 13 3/4 inches.

Wood -the instrument is made of, what seems to be, rosewood.

Key of instrument -D.

Finger Holes -there are 7 finger holes of different sizes. One of the finder holes is covered by the left thumb. There is also a key made of nickel silver.

The spacing on the holes is as follows: (measurements are approximate)

1-2=.513
2-3=.579
3-4=.593
4-5=.467
5-6=.569

This shows that the hole pattern is not even.

Swell -there is not swell, the fife is straight.

Ferrules - Ferrules are made of nickel silver. Top ferrule is .836 inch in length; bottom is the same.
