Features:

Length of Instrument -the fife is 14 1/4 inches.

Wood -the instrument is made of, what seems to be, black ebony.

Key of instrument -D

Finger Holes -different sizes.

The spacing on the holes is as follows:

1-2=.660
2-3=.616
3-4=.759
4-5=.467
5-6=.738

This shows that the hole pattern is not even.

The instrument does have a 7 th hole, that is in the back of the instrument.

Swell -the swell on this instrument comes at the embouchure hole.

Ferrules - Ferrules are made of nickel silver, and have an indented ring.

Top ferrule is .321 inch in length; bottom is the same.
