Wood -the instrument is made of, what seems to be, black ebony.

Finger Holes -different size.

The spacing on the holes is as follows:

1-2=.790
2-3=.634
3-4=.790
4-5=.529
5-6=.700

This shows that the hole pattern is not even.

The instrument does have a 7 th hole.

Swell -the swell on this instrument comes at the embouchure hole.

Ferrules - Ferrules are made of silver, scored with the following: Top ferrule has 1+1 scoring. Bottom ferrule has the same. Top ferrule also has a top cap for the cork. Top ferrule is 1.046 inch in length;(with top cap) bottom is .820 inch.
